〜The history of “Hakata Hodo Yoshi”, a
legendary shop found in a lively town〜
Our story began in the 33rd year of Showa (1958) when the restaurant was originally founded by Kazuko Uematsu in Nakasu, the center of Hakata. At the time, it was the only place in Hakata where people could enjoy Satsuma cuisine or Shochu served from a “Kurojoka”, and it’s been loved by many since then. Still today we welcome our customers here, in the same unchanged location, placing importance on “heart to heart connections.”
